The Medical Assistant I is responsible for obtaining patient charts and encounter forms for all visits, accurately collecting and documenting basic patient assessments, assisting providers with exams and procedures and room stocking.
This position will travel between our Reisterstown and Manchester locationRequirements Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience in a medical office setting Medical Assistant certification preferred CPR certification required Must be able to provide age specific care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations Must be able to travel frequently to practice locations around the metropolitan area Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize one or more of the following:
EPIC, microsoft word/powerpoint/excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Performance manager/netlearning Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
Must be able to work independently and possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Must be flexible, have personal integrity, and the ability to function effectively as a team with other employees.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
